Hello, hello, and welcome to April. I know we are over halfway through the month, but better late than never, right? Seeing that we are over halfway through I was not sure if I would even post this; but I didn’t want to leave you all hanging. If you are subscribed to my email list then you would have already received an email from me a few days ago, so there is no need for you to read this again. For those of you who aren’t subscribed to my list, what are waiting for? You get access to early and exclusive content, plus you never miss a post. I’ll talk more about joining the list at the end of post.
Anyway, Spring has arrived full force and the cherry blossoms were beautiful. Since we moved into our house late summer we didn’t know that the tree growing in our front was a cherry tree. Imagine our surprise when we woke up one day and these delicate pink blossoms swayed in the wind. For me, last month was both exciting and inspiring and I am looking forward to seeing what this month has in store. However, I have an announcement…
I’m taking a break
I have only six weeks left before I finally graduate high school; and I want to give 110% of my energy to my studies. This means that I will have to take a break from blogging until about the third week in May. During this time I will not be posting new blog posts; but I will still be active on social media. Don’t worry, once school is over I will jump right back into blogging. I even have some ideas brewing already.
Wondering what to do while I’m gone?
Browse the archives
Take a look through the archives. Maybe you’ll find an old favorite or discover a post you missed. Each post is categorized either under school, travel, or lifestyle. You can pick your poison from the menu above. Or you can read the most popular posts, found in the sidebar. If you’re on a desktop that will be found to the right, for mobile users just scroll past the bottom of this post. I will also link the current popular posts here:

ICYMI, I recently wrote about my latest Etude House haul and it’s one of the most popular posts on the blog. Three words: sheet. masks. galore.
Download old freebies
I really enjoy creating graphics, printables, and wallpapers for you. To this day my January wallpaper bundle is the most popular post on the blog. Download the April wallpaper which is compatible with both desktop and mobile devices. This month’s quote is:
“The temptation to quit will be the greatest just before you are about to succeed.”
I believe we’ve all been at that point where we just want to give up; I know that I struggled with that feeling recently. That is why I made these wallpapers. One is on my laptop and I catch glimpses of it as I switch between my assignments; and the other is on my cellphone. It’s a gentle reminder that you’re almost there. Don’t give up now, because you are about to take the gold.
Follow On Social Media
Now I won’t claim to be the most social blogger, but I would love if you followed my social media channels. That way you can get inspired by my pins on Pinterest or learn new study tips on my studyblr. Head on over there right now!
Don’t worry
I won’t leave you hanging. Even though I will not be posting new posts on the blog, I will hopefully still be sending out emails. You may be wondering: if you’re going to send out emails, why not just post on the blog? Well, sending out emails is less time consuming so it won’t subtract from my daily studies. As I do not wish to vanish entirely I’ve decided that email is the way to go. Yesterday my family and I returned home from a five day trip to Jeju Island, which I will be sharing about via email soon. Want in? It’s easy, fill out the form below and click to join. Of course it is totally free and I would love to have you be a part of the tribe.
Now over to you: what are you going to be up to in the next few weeks? Does school have you as swamped as it does me? Comment below!
